Please answer the following question to start your insurance application:
Have you read and understood the above information with regards to the accuracy of the information you will be entering and that cover only extends to include items of contractors plant?
What is the cost?
Premiums start from £71.75, the exact cost depends on the length of hire, the hire charges and the type of equipment being hired.
What if I don't know the exact details of the equipment being hired?
If you do not know precise details then: in the make field select unknown from the drop down list; in the serial/registration number field type TBC (To Be Confirmed); in the type of machine/tool field type a generic description such as 3 ton dumper.
What if I need to extend the period of cover?
If the cover has not expired and the extension does not take the total number of days beyond 30 and there is no increase in the hire charges, then we can extend cover. If however, your cover has expired, the hire fees are increased or the extension takes the period over 30 days then a new policy will need to be arranged.
